Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BookMeArtist ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable Indian laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. BookMeArtist is owned and operated by Dipak Brahmbhatt.

2. What We Do

BookMeArtist is a discovery and booking platform that connects clients with independent creative artists across India — including musicians, photographers, dancers, and performers. We offer paid subscription plans for artist accounts that unlock enhanced visibility and platform features.

3. User Accounts

Artist accounts are created by BookMeArtist administrators after manual verification. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. Client accounts may be created during the booking process.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

BookMeArtist offers paid subscription plans for artists. All payments are processed securely by PayU Payments Private Limited, our authorised payment gateway partner. We do not store your card or banking details on our servers.

  • Pro Plan — ₹2,499/month: Enhanced profile visibility, booking management tools, and priority listing.
  • Featured Plan — ₹4,999/month: All Pro features plus featured placement across the platform.

Subscription access is activated immediately upon successful payment and remains active for 30 days from the date of purchase. Subscriptions are not automatically renewed — you must make a fresh purchase to continue access after expiry.

5. Booking Enquiries

Booking requests submitted through the Platform are enquiries, not confirmed bookings. Final event terms, performance details, and any direct payments between clients and artists are agreed independently. BookMeArtist is not a party to that agreement and is not liable for disputes arising from it.

6. Artist Profiles

Artist profiles are created and maintained by BookMeArtist after verification. If you are an artist and wish to claim, update, or remove your profile, please use the "Request a Review" link on your profile page or contact us at hello@bookmeartist.com.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit false or misleading booking requests or profile information
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute artist profile data without permission
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
  • Circumvent or attempt to reverse-engineer any part of our payment or subscription system

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including artist profiles, images, and copy — is owned by BookMeArtist or the respective rights holders. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

BookMeArtist provides the Platform "as is" and makes no warranties regarding availability or accuracy. To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to losses arising from subscription access interruptions or booking disputes between artists and clients.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
