General

How does BookMeArtist work?+
Browse artists, view their profiles and packages, then send a booking request with your event details. The artist will review and respond within 24–48 hours.
Is there a fee to browse artists?+
No — browsing is completely free. You only need to contact an artist when you're ready to book.

Booking

How do I send a booking request?+
Open any artist's profile, click 'Send Booking Request', fill in your event details, and submit. The artist will get notified and respond directly.
Can I contact multiple artists?+
Yes, you can send requests to multiple artists simultaneously and compare their responses before committing.
How far in advance should I book?+
We recommend booking at least 4–8 weeks in advance for most events, and 3–6 months ahead for weddings or large productions.

Payments

How are payments handled?+
Payments and final terms are agreed directly between you and the artist. BookMeArtist facilitates the discovery and initial connection — no platform fees.

Artists

Are the artists verified?+
Yes, all artists on BookMeArtist go through an application and review process before their profiles are published.
What types of artists are available?+
We have musicians, photographers, dancers, painters, DJs, videographers, tattoo artists, spoken word performers, and more — spanning hundreds of cities across India.
